If you are not completely satisfied
Our Basic Funeral Service at £700 is direct to crematorium; the DWP funeral payment will cover the full cost of this funeral if you qualify for a funeral payment from the social fund.
Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire are all included within our set prices. The services we offer are transferable to any area but we will need to charge an additional mileage rate of £1.90 per mile, please contact us if you would like a full quotation.
We can only finalise the arrangements with you once the cremation documents have been completed and payment made. It often takes a day or two for the Doctors' to complete both cremation documents and therefore due to our time constraints we only collect the deceased from a hospital. Our Traditional Service has included an allowance for collection from a nursing home. See our Traditional Service
Although we don't offer viewing facilities, most hospitals and nursing homes will allow you to pay your last respects to your loved one in a suitable setting.
The coffin we use is a light oak style cremation coffin. It is the same style of simple cremation coffin used by most Funeral Directors. Our coffin is available in sizes up to 6' by 20" wide which accommodates most people, in circumstances where someone is larger than that, there could be additional costs incurred and we will have to add these costs to the funeral account.
The hearse will be immaculately presented on the day, as you would expect from every Funeral Director. Our limousines can accomodate 6/7 mourners.
If you wish to have flowers at the funeral you can either bring them on the day or have them delivered to the crematorium for the service.
If you wish to place a death notice in a newspaper you can contact the newspaper directly, they will normally ask for the Funeral Directors details to ensure the information is correct.
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with our service please contact Jamie Pearson, Funeral Director directly. Being a full professional member of the BIFD, if I cannot resolve your issue, you can contact:
